While travelling the world, there are many things to consider. Obviously, people need to know where they are going and what they are doing at different locations, but at times the things we forget about is what are things that we will always need on our travels. This Travel Essentials list will ensure that you are as best prepared to enjoy your trip.

Packing Cells

Packing Cells - 6 Travel Essentials - The Traveller's Guide By #ljojlo

By far one of the hardest and most pain staking elements to travel, particularly backpacking, is having to pack and unpack on a daily basis. With a decent set of packing cells, packing and unpacking can be made infinitely easier. Separating clothes into tops, bottoms, underwear or however you want, makes not everything fit into a confined space easier, but also ensures that all of your things stay organised and easy to find. Fantastic for those with OCD tendencies. (*Cough* Jarrad *Cough*)

Sunnies

Without question one of the most important travel essentials is a decent pair of sunglasses. Whether it be for fashion, protection or practicality, quality sunglasses will ensure that you look good whilst sight-seeing around the world. We used Vision Direct AU to help us look this “stunningly beautiful” (Self quote from Jarrad). Quality sunglasses at an affordable price is all any traveller could ask for.

Cameras

THE INSTA360 NANO

Whether it be a DSLR, compact, mirrorless, 360 degree or drone (how awesome are drones) a decent camera is an absolute must have. Having a decent camera that captures moments, scenery or anything that your heart desires will ensure that your memories last a life-time. And what better way to make all of your friends jealous then with some nice photos, especially if it’s a drone (man I really want a drone).

Rain Wear

There is nothing better than travelling with a travel buddy who loves the art of travel and you all at the same time!! #luckiestgirlintheworld

CHILLING IN OUR RAIN WEAR IN NEW ZEALAND

“That rain really ruined my trip to Yellowstone”, you won’t be saying any such things with decent rain wear. Having a clothes that breathe and keeps you dry is a great way to ensure that no day is ruined whilst travelling. From jackets to shoes and anything in between (e.g pants) will make sure that you enjoy every moment. And if it was to rain in Yellowstone, it would still be amazeballs.

Local Sim Cards

Local Sims, Yellowstone National Park - 6 Travel Essentials - The Traveller's Guide By #ljojlo

Now some keen bean travellers will tell you that there is nothing better than forgetting all technology whilst travelling the world. Absolutely true!! Until of course you are in Yellowstone (have I mentioned that Yellowstone is awesome) and are greeted by a super friendly bear who wants to take a selfie with you, then what will you do? That’s right nothing because you won’t have any technology. If you were to have the technology it would not be a problem to take a selfie, in fact, if you were to have a local Sim and had access to data, you could connect on Facebook, Instagram, Tinder, whatever floats your boat really. Not only will all your friends be jealous of your bear friendships, but you will have done it a bargain price with a local Sim Card. (That is the idea behind the local sim. It is cheaper, I just like bears.)
